Not all men. How does this help the 13-year-old girl in her school uniform being glared at by a much much older man on the train? How does this stop that man from putting his hand down his trousers and touching himself while staring at that same girl?
I just got back from a foggy, sub zero degrees capital of Denmark after a short break with my favourite munchkin. Despite my feet being so cold they felt like I was walking on actual glass before giving in and buying a pair of thick socks from Topshop, I had an amazing time! Here my top 10 sights, eats, tips and tricks for a long weekend in Copenhagen.
So I know I am still a 20-something and probably haven’t taken some of this advice myself yet but I was inspired to write this by a similar post I saw online. Growing up is hard and these are just my thoughts on the crazy journey that is life.
I’ve always been a quiet human. I’ve overcome a lot of worries and push myself every day to gain confidence and be a friendly, open person. When I was little, I was painfully shy and wouldn’t want to talk to unknown members of my own family let alone strangers, always hiding behind and holding onto the back of my mum’s knees. I would never speak up for myself and though I was never bullied, I was pretty much a push-over as my silence made me seem weak.
It’s actually pretty seriously cold outside now so why not match your makeup to the plummeting temperatures? I think this blue/grey eye is perfect for partying during these icy months and with a little help from our good friend, primer we can party all night without worrying about our makeup wearing off.
My boyfriend and I recently had a wonderful, although very chilly, weekend away in the Lake District. We stayed just outside the village of Coniston and visited Ambleside and Grasmere. I’ve never been to this part of the country before and I was amazed to see the beauty my home has to offer.
Here’s the second of my seasonal makeup looks, using eye shadows from the Urban Decay palette and a smashed (WAH!) purple eyeshadow from Benefit. I’m not sure of the name of the eyeshadow at the moment but it’s a beautiful shade of purple which gives a warm feel to the browns and golds. I feel I’m rocking a 90s vibe with a brown lip and my natural, permanent perm.
