It’s actually pretty seriously cold outside now so why not match your makeup to the plummeting temperatures? I think this blue/grey eye is perfect for partying during these icy months and with a little help from our good friend, primer we can party all night without worrying about our makeup wearing off.
My boyfriend and I recently had a wonderful, although very chilly, weekend away in the Lake District. We stayed just outside the village of Coniston and visited Ambleside and Grasmere. I’ve never been to this part of the country before and I was amazed to see the beauty my home has to offer.
Here’s the second of my seasonal makeup looks, using eye shadows from the Urban Decay palette and a smashed (WAH!) purple eyeshadow from Benefit. I’m not sure of the name of the eyeshadow at the moment but it’s a beautiful shade of purple which gives a warm feel to the browns and golds. I feel I’m rocking a 90s vibe with a brown lip and my natural, permanent perm.
It’s finally getting chilly in the mornings! Fog is slowly rising over the park behind my house and I can pretend I’m a sexy French smoker because I can see my breath in the air. This is the first of hopefully a few Winter looks to celebrate my favourite season of the year.
I very rarely wear jewellery but these are some of my top little pieces that I love no end. I tend to stick to silver because I feel it suits my skin tone better.
So I thought I would do a post on this babe of a product because it is an absolute miracle worker. I’m talking about The Body Shop’s ginseng and rice facemask. THIS STUFF IS RIDICULOUS.
I just wanted to share my skincare routine because I swear by these products and they seriously work for me. I have combination skin, it’s oily on my T-zone (particularly my nose) and can be quite dry everywhere else. These products help me no end, I rarely get breakouts and they keep my skin fresh and vibrant.
